In this tutorial we primarily practiced creating simple items by piecing together a lot of different shapes. We morphed them and joined them to make all the different elements of the garden. For example, the carrot box was used by creating a rectangle and then using the warp tool (bulge) to curve the edges of the box inward. Also, we got to practice using the distort & transform tool when we were creating the body of the bird, since we needed to use the twist transformation to give the bird his shape. This tutorial really helped reinforce all of the possibilities illustrator provides when working with shapes.
